Manchester United Plan To Make Three Signings This Summer

Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson plans to make the signings during the summer.

This was revealed in an interview as he stated, "I am looking at maybe three signings which would boost our overall quality in our team, We have some ideas in mind and hopefully can get them put in place."

On the subject of retirement Sir Alex Ferguson stated, "I have no plans to retire and my wife Cathy is delighted. She'd have thrown me out. The salient point is that whilst my health is good, carry on. You hear
many stories of people who come off the treadmill and their system breaks down. I don't want that happening to me."

Ferguson was speaking at the club's annual end-of-season award ceremony where Nani was named United's players' player of the year prize.

Javier Hernandez was crowned fans' player of the year and Wayne Rooney was the overwhelming choice for goal of the season for his magnificent overhead kick against Manchester City at Old Trafford in February.
