EUFA Champions League Group Fixtures Drawn

United have been drawn in Group C of the UEFA Champions League alongside Benfica, FC Basel and Otelul Galati. Manchester United Confirm They Are Close To Signing David De Gea

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the club is close to a deal to bring David De Gea to Old Trafford. Manchester United are looking to replace 40 year old Edwin Van Der Sar who will retire at the end of the season, a season which ends after the Champions League final against Barcelona this Saturday. "We've been working on it [the deal] for quite a while, he is young, very quick, good composure, presence and an outstanding replacement for Van der Sar." said Ferguson after Gary Neville's testimonial on Tuesday.
