Sir Alex Ferguson Surprised By Man United's Start

Sir Alex has admitted that he is surprised at how his side have dealt with the tough matches so far this season and has warned that the games will not get any easier as the season wears on. United have so far won 1-2 away at West Brom, beaten Tottenham 3-0, thrashed Arsenal 8-2 and have now put 5 goals past Bolton in scoring a record 18 goals in the opening 4 games so far. EUFA Champions League Group Fixtures Drawn

United have been drawn in Group C of the UEFA Champions League alongside Benfica, FC Basel and Otelul Galati. Sir Bobby Charlton fittingly pulled out Benfica, the team he helped conquer in the 1968 European Cup final, at the ceremony as Sir Alex's side start on the road to Munich looking to go one better than last season. Manchester United To Start New Campaign Against West Brom

Barclays Premier League Champions- Manchester United, will start they bid to retain their title at the Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, August 13. Liverpool will host Sunderland, Manchester City will host promoted Swansea, Arsenal are awway at Newcastle and Stoke will host Chelsea. Other newly promoted teams- QPR and Norwich will play Bolton and Wigan respectively.
