Sneijder Not For Sale, Say Inter Milan

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti remains adamant that Wesley Sneijder will not be going anywhere this summer. The Dutchman has been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester United this summer and claimed last week that 'unofficial' talks had taken place with the Premier League champions. Sir Alex Ferguson had previously tried to dismiss the speculation, while he has also made it clear he has faith in United's young players and is not planning to make further additions to the squad. Moratti maintains there is no chance of Sneijder leaving Inter before the transfer window closes at the end of the month as he is regarded as too important a player to let go. Untouchable Inter have always been determined to keep hold of the midfielder and the fact that Samuel Eto'o could be set for a move elsewhere has only strengthened their resolve. "Sneijder away? Manchester United Consider Partial Asian Flotation

Manchester United's owners, the Glazer family, are considering a share sale in Singapore to help raise money to reduce some of their debts. The BBC's sports editor David Bond says an initial public offering (IPO) is one of a number of refinancing options the American family is examining. But, he says, they are only considering selling a minority stake - perhaps no more than 25%. If successful, such a move could raise £400m ($657m). The Old Trafford club was listed on the London stock market until it was taken over by the Glazers in 2005. Small sale, big move A partial sale share would mean that no outside person could take control of the club.

Wesley Sneijder Confirms Unoficial Man Utd Talks

Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder has said he would like to join Manchester United and that "unofficial talks" have taken place with the league champions. The 27-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer and recently said he could be sold at the "right amount". Asked if he was keen to move, Sneijder told www.nos.nl: "Yes, but United haven't made an official approach yet. "There have been unofficial talks and there have been contacts." He added: "I have contacts with everybody." In July, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson denied making a contract offer to Sneijder, while Inter said they had not had an approach from United.

The Daily Star has become the latest paper to claim that a bid has been accepted by Inter and the player now just has to agree to personal terms. According the Daily Star; INTER MILAN have accepted a £30m offer by Manchester United for Wesley Sneijder, according to reports. Reports in Italy suggest that Inter Milan have accepted a £30m bid from Manchester United and that Wesley Sneijder is now free to agree terms with the club.

Wesley Sneijder Agrees Deal To Join Manchester United

Wesley Sneijder is close to joining Manchester United after the Glazers sanctioned the £35m bid to bring the talented Dutchman to Old Trafford. It is reported that Sneijder was forced to compromise his demands of £250,000-a-week and instead will earn £190,000 per week and is close to completing a move the the BPL champions. Sneijder is seen as a replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes and even though Inter Milan were reluctant to sell, a £35m was just too good a deal to turn down.

If the report on caughtoffside is to be believed, Sir Alex Ferguson is prepared to bring Slovakian and Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik to Manchester United if his bid for Wesley Sneijfer fails. The highly rated midfielder is thought to have a €40m (£35.1m) valuation by Napoli, but the price will not be a deterrence as Sir Alex is prepared splash out, to take this summer's spending above the £80m mark, after he had previously acquired Ashley, David De Gea and Phil Jones this summer.

Inter Milan technical director Marco Branca, has denied that there has been a bid made for Dutch midfielder, Wesley Sneijder. Manchester United have been strongly linked with Sneijder and Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that he is a target, but Inter Milan are reluctant to sell. However, according to Marco Branca, "...there's not been an official offer and there has never been the intention to listen to them." "There are no updates. He is not for sale." There has been constant speculation of a move to United and Sneijder has allegedly asked Dutch team mate Nigel De Jong about places to live in Manchester. "There are no meetings planned," he said. "We don't sell by force. "The player is getting on with his work and so are we. "It's not surprising that Sneijder is a player that is liked by many teams, including the strongest in the world like our team is," said Branca.

Federico Macheda posted the above on twitter, and the rumour that Sneijder's move to United is imminent, have gone into over-drive. This is one signing we would really love to see at United, though the reported 35 million pound fee does seem a bit steep for a 27 year old. ROM

Samir Nasri Unlikely To Join Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that Frenchman Samir Nasri has agreed to leave Arsenal, but it is highly unlikely that he will be joining Manchester United. The 24 year old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and United reportedly had a £20m bid rejected. "I don't think he is coming to United," said manager Ferguson, speaking at the start of his side's United States tour. "That is all I can tell you. I think he has agreed to go somewhere else." Arsene Wenger may keep Nasri for the final year of his contract, which would allow him to leave for free next summer and of that Sir Alex said, "That is his decision," said Ferguson, when asked what he thought of Wenger's stance. "He is the manager. "If he stands by that decision, it is a brave one. I don't know if the [Arsenal] directors will enjoy that one but it is possible. Maybe he will have to stay."

Samir Nasri Wants To Win Titles

Samir Nasri insists that if he does leave Arsenal the move will be based on his desire to win titles, rather than money. There has been increasing speculation that Nasri could leave the gunners this summer, with Manchester United reportedly interested in him filling the gap in central midfield, left vacant by the retired Paul Scholes. The French international has failed win a single trophy in his three years at Arsenal, with the club having gone six years without a piece of silverware. And Nasri is desperate to get his hands on a trophy and has watch while Manchester United have won three Barclay's Premier League titles, Chelsea one and Birmingham and Manchester City having won the Carling and Fa Cups respectively.

Chelsea May Enter Race For Samir Nasri Signature

Chelsea are monitoring Samir Nasri's situation at Arsenal and could challenge Manchester United for the France international's signature should their pursuit of alternative targets, principally Tottenham Hotspur's Luka Modric, be frustrated. Arsenal have, as yet, failed to convince Nasri to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium, where the midfielder, a £15.8m signing from Marseille in 2008, has entered the final 12 months of his contract. United are expected to make a formal offer for the 24-year-old, with Arsenal wary of allowing the player to wind down his contract and leave for nothing next summer, but Chelsea are also actively considering stepping up their own interest given the Frenchman's anticipated availability.

Obertan Linked With Loan Move To Lille

Manchester United winger Gabriel Obertan has played down talk linking him with a move to Lille. Reports have suggested that the Ligue 1 side were lining up a loan swoop for Obertan as they look to bolster their squad for next season's UEFA Champions League campaign. Obertan has struggled to make an impact at United since arriving from Bordeaux in the summer of 2009.
