Sir Alex Ferguson Rules Out Management Return

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled dismissed claims he may return to management one day. The 71 year old, who is the most successful manager in English and Manchester United's football history, insisted he is not interested in getting himself worked up with everyday stresses that a job in football management would entail. Speaking with the BBC , Ferguson also revealed that he was approached by Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich in 2003, who tried to persuade him to abandon United and take up the reigns at Stamford Bridge. "They used an agent to approach me when Abramovich first took over," he said. "And I said, 'No chance'." Ferguson retired at the end of last season after spending 26 years in the Old Trafford dugout, during that time he won 13 premier league titles, 5 FA cups and 2 champions league trophies.
