Manchester United After Marek Hamsik?

If the report on caughtoffside is to be believed, Sir Alex Ferguson is prepared to bring Slovakian and Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik to Manchester United if his bid for Wesley Sneijfer fails.

The highly rated midfielder is thought to have a €40m (£35.1m) valuation by Napoli, but the price will not be a deterrence as Sir Alex is prepared splash out, to take this summer's spending above the £80m mark, after he had previously acquired Ashley, David De Gea and Phil Jones this summer.
